Our Testimony before the House Resources Committee on Southcentral Gas Supply
Our point was simple: let the market decide, no subsidies, but if there are, don't use PFD cuts to pay for them
By invitation, we testified before the Alaska House Resources Committee on March 15, 2024, on Southcentral Gas Supply. The presentation was part of the Committee's look into the implications of the challenges currently facing Cook Inlet gas supplies.
Our presentation addressed both energy and fiscal policy. Our theme was simple: "Let the market decide," and there should be no subsidies. But if there are subsidies, they should be paid for other than through PFD cuts.
